Anger follows Lennox label reports



Music diligence giant Song BMG has described as "ludicrous" media reports that it had dropped singer Annie Lennox after workings with the artist for 25 days.
Billboard reports that the Daily Mirror had quoted the vocalist as locution that the company had ignored her calls and emails and that she was come out of the closet of contract following the October expiration of her album 'Songs of Mass Destruction'.
Sony BMG confirmed it no thirster had a contract with Lennox merely the company said it hoped to work with the isaac Merrit Singer in the future tense, and on her stream album.
In a statement, Sony BMG said: "The quotes attributed to Annie's dissatisfaction with her label arose out of a slip in December to South Africa and birth no relevance to the expiry of her contract."
Sony BMG Music Amusement UK Chairman Ged Doherty said: "We ar immensely proud to have worked with Annie all over to a greater extent than two decades. She now has a selection as to whether she wants to extend to work with us in the future. We very much bob Hope that she will."
Lennox's management company, 19 Entertainment, suggested the singer's quotes had been taken out of context of use.

REM announce new album details

REM announce new album details



REM have announced details of their fresh album, which will be released in the spring.
Billboard reports that 'Accelerate' volition be released on 1 Apr and will feature film the tracks 'Staring Down the Barrel of the Midsection Distance', 'Living Well Is the Charles Herbert Best Revenge' and 'Horse to Water'.
Commenting on the focal point of the band's 14th studio album, REM's handler, Bertis Downs, said: "It's not like we're going to dissemble these are ballads. These are bikers."
Songs from 'Accelerate' were recorded at Grouse Lodge Studios in Co Westmeath.
REM previewed their freshly material during the band's five-night unravel at Dublin's Olympia Dramaturgy in the summer.

Icelandic singer Bjork has allegedly attacked a lensman at Auckland International Aerodrome.
According to reports, the isaac Merrit Singer ripped photographer Glenn Jeffrey's shirt in half later on he ignored a call for to halt pickings pictures of the isaac Bashevis Singer.
Jeffrey told the Freshly Sjaelland Herlad: "I took a duet of pictures and I got around three or four frames of her... and as I turned and walked away she came up behind me, grabbed the back of my black slavey (sweatshirt) and tore it down the back."
"As she did this she fell over, she fell to the ground. At no stage did I have-to doe with her or speak with her."
The newspaper's website has reported that neither the newspaper nor Jeffrey destine to file charges against the singer.
A representative for Auckland Police force said that the alleged incident was not existence investigated.
